Bangkok is known for its idiosyncrasies, so it was no surprise to see a video of feeding nearly 2000 monkeys with variety of fruits, vegetables and soft drinks. Its known as the Monkey Festival, held annually in front of Pra Prang Sam Yot temple in Lopburi province, north Bangkok. The Hindu temple is filled with monkeys and the locals believe that feeding the monkeys brings them good luck.

The video shows how the monkeys scamper around to eat food, without harming humans. Tourists come to Lopburi to see the monkey feast.
