But if you intend to go to the stadium to watch the game then this is the time to book your tickets.
I came across a website which is selling tickets online - Global Ticket Service. It is expensive, but if you are a die-hard fan and don't want to miss the arch rivals in action, then it's worth it. Of course, it saves the trouble of standing in really long queues outside the stadium to purchase tickets.
Here's the itinerary of the one-day series -
Tour Match: Pakistanis v tbc at Delhi - Nov 2, 2007 (09:00 local, 03:30 GMT)
1st ODI: India v Pakistan at Guwahati - Nov 6, 2007 (09:00 local, 03:30 GMT)
2nd ODI: India v Pakistan at Mohali - Nov 9, 2007 (14:30 local, 09:00 GMT)
3rd ODI: India v Pakistan at Kanpur - Nov 11, 2007 (09:00 local, 03:30 GMT)
4th ODI: India v Pakistan at Gwalior - Nov 15, 2007 (14:30 local, 09:00 GMT)
5th ODI: India v Pakistan at Jaipur - Nov 18, 2007 (14:30 local, 09:00 GMT)
Test Series:
1st Test: Delhi - Nov 22 - Nov 26 (09:30 local, 04:00 GMT)
2nd Test: Kolkata - Nov 30 - Dec 4 (09:30 local, 04:00 GMT)
3rd Test: Bangalore - Dec 8 - Dec 12 (09:30 local, 04:00 GMT)
Unfortunately none of the matches are being played in Mumbai as it's a political issue to permit Pakistan to play here. It sure will be an action-packed series.

Thanks for your response. Soccer is huge in Europe, am sure there are many such sites which sell football tickets online. But I was surprised myself to see a European company selling tickets for cricket matches.
Good to see!

I was really thrilled to see a link where the tickets of India-Pak series can be booked. But these ticket prices are not a little high but extra-ordinally insane. Why pay 340 Euro's for ordinary ticket, and 1490 Euro's for VIP seat, for one day of test cricket.
As, I recall you can get tickets for 15-20 Euro's, so I dont see any point in paying 20-30 times that price, just for the convienience of ordering it online.
I guess, these people are even more greedy and senseless than people managing ICC.
Cricket is a commercialised sport so that says it all! Even if you go to the stadium, how much would a ticket cost of a decent stand with a good view? Lots!
Unfortunatley there are no Indian sites selling tickets online, tht shows how much we lacking behind, except one site which was selling tics only for the last ODI, the price wasn't too low.
